(46) 26-0071-S1 CD 3 MOTION (BLUMENFIELD - JURADO) relative to funding for the Permanent Supportive Housing projects known as the “Elderberry” and the “Nova” in Council District Three (CD 3). Recommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: 1. TRANSFER and APPROPRIATE $250,000 from the Housing Department Fund No. 10A/43, Account No. 43CC13 (FY 2025- 26 Street Strategies) to a new Account in the Housing Department Fund No. 10A/43, Account No. TBD (FY 2026-27 Street Strategies) to provide supplemental funding for the Permanent Supportive Housing projects known as the "Elderberry" and the ''Nova" in CD 3. 2. TRANSFER and APPROPRIATE, on July 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter, $150,000 from the General City Purposes Fund No. 100/56, Account No. 000617 (Additional Homeless Services - Council District 3) to a new Account in the Housing Department Fund No. 10A/43, Account No. TBD (FY 2026-27 Street Strategies) to provide additional supplemental funding for the "Elderberry." 3. INSTRUCT and AUTHORIZE the General Manager of the Los Angeles Housing Department, or designee, to execute or amend the City's Fiscal Year 2026-27 General Funds Homeless Shelter Services Agreement with the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority to add up to $400,000 for the purposes as noted in the Motion, attached to the Council file. 4. AUTHORIZE the Los Angeles Housing Department to make any corrections, clarifications, or revisions to the above fund transfer instructions, including any new instructions, in order to effectuate the intent of this Motion, and including any corrections and changes to fund or account numbers; said corrections / clarifications / changes may be made orally, electronically or by any other means. 5. REQUEST and AUTHORIZE the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority to prepare, process and execute the necessary documents with and / or payments to Volunteers of America Los Angeles and A Community of Friends, or any other agency or organization, as appropriate, utilizing the above amount, for the above purpose, subject to the approval of the City Attorney as to form.
