23. Investigation Services for the Department of Human Resources Equity and Personnel Investigations Model Master Agreement Recommendation: Approve the Model Master Agreement (Model Agreement) for Investigation Services with a three-year term commencing the date of execution of the first Master Agreement (MA), plus two one-year extension options, for a total agreement term not to exceed five years. Each executed MA will be effective upon the date of its execution by the Director of Personnel and will terminate on the expiration date of the first MA. Authorize the Director of Personnel to execute MAs substantially similar to the Model Agreement with qualified contractors to meet the needs of the Department, provided sufficient funding is available. Authorize the Director to modify or amend the MA within the conditions specified in the MA, including to execute any extension options above, if it is in the best interest of the County and funding is available; allow for Cost of Living Adjustments at the sole discretion of the County and in accordance with County policy and the MA terms; execute applicable documents when the original contracting entity has merged, been purchased, or otherwise changed; and to include new or revised standard County contract provisions, including all applicable documents adopted by the Board during the term of the MA.
