42. Settlement of the Matter Entitled, K. G. v. County of Los Angeles, et al.
Los Angeles County Claims Board's recommendation: Authorize settlement of
the matter entitled, K. G. v. County of Los Angeles, et al., United States District
Court Case No. 2:25-cv-04754, in the amount of $550,000; and instruct the
Auditor-Controller to draw a warrant to implement this settlement from the
Department of Mental Health and Probation Department's budget.
This lawsuit concerns allegations of sexual assault by a Department of Mental
Health employee while Plaintiff was in custody at Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall.
