Microsoft Enterprise Volume Licensing Services Contract Recommendation: Authorize the Executive Director of the Los Angeles County Development Authority to execute a contract with SHI International Corporation (SHI) to provide Microsoft Enterprise Volume Licensing and related services (Services) for the Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA) for a three-year term, with a maximum contract sum not to exceed $2,816,109.87, comprised of $2,216,109.87 for ongoing support and upgrades; and $600,000 for Pool Dollars for additional Services as needed, with Pool Dollar expenditures to be authorized through issuance of change notices and/or amendments, as applicable. Authorize the Executive Director to execute amendments to the contract to: add, delete, and/or change certain terms and conditions as mandated by Federal, State, or local law or regulations, or as required by the Board and/or Executive Director, which are not part of the Statement of Work (SOW); internally reallocate funds between budget pools within the contract; approve assignment and delegation of the contract, resulting from acquisitions, mergers, or other changes in ownership; terminate the contract for convenience, if necessary; and make changes to the SOW as operationally necessary. Approve the request to allow Mr. Allen to return as an Executive Assistant Sheriff UC at a rate of $106.45 per hour for up to 960 total hours of work in a fiscal year.
