13. 26-55684 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to apply for, accept, and expend grant funding from the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of Justice Programs (OJP) Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), in collaboration with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN) Modernization Program in an amount not to exceed $300,000; and Authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all necessary documents, including any necessary memorandums of understanding to the terms of award CIVIC CHAMBERS, 3:00 PM amount, with the DOJ and ATF relating to the grant application and award to the Long Beach Police Department, for the acquisition of new NIBIN-compatible equipment and maintenance costs for a performance period of 60 months.
