A. Consideration to Approve an Interim Urgency Ordinance Instituting a Temporary 45-Day Moratorium Prohibiting Approval and Acceptance of New Data Center Land Use Applications Presented by the City Attorney Recommendation: The City Council is requested to: 1. Determine the adoption of Urgency Ordinance No. 772 is exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3); and 2. Introduce by title only, and waive further reading of Urgency Ordinance No. 772, imposing a 45-day moratorium prohibiting approval and acceptance of new Data Center land use applications.
