1. 23-0415 Recommendation to increase appropriations in the General Fund\nGroup in the City Manager Department by $14,604, offset by Second\nCouncil District One-Time District Priority Funds, transferred from the\nCitywide Activities Department, to provide contributions of:\n· $5,000 to the LGBTQ Center Long Beach for their annual Black\nand White Ball on June 24, 2023;\n· $2,500 to the St. Mary Medical Center Foundation for their\nEaster Walk on April 9, 2023;\n· $2,500 to the Long Beach Police Officers Association Charity\nGolf account for the 50th annual Widows and Orphans charity\ngolf tournament on June 14, 2023;\n· $2,000 to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Long Beach to\nsupport their charity golf tournament benefitting the Long Beach\nRonald McDonald House on June 22, 2023;\n· $2,000 to the Long Beach Symphony to support Khmeraspora\non April 29, 2023;\n· $300 to the Salvation Army of Long Beach for their Red Shield\nDay on March 25, 2023;\n· $304 to the Long Beach Public Library Foundation for book\ndonations as part of their Leaders Are Readers program; and\nDecrease appropriations in the General Fund Group in the Citywide\nActivities Department by $14,604, to offset a transfer to the City\nManager Department.\nOffice or Department: VICE MAYOR CINDY ALLEN, SECOND\nDISTRICT\nSuggested Action: Approve recommendation.\nCIVIC CHAMBERS, 5:00 PM
