D Consideration and possible action to conduct a public hearing to consider
Bellflower to join the Statewide Community Infrastructure Program (“SCIP”);
authorizing the California Statewide Communities Development Authority to
accept applications from property owners, conduct special assessment and
Mello-Roos proceedings, levy assessments and special taxes, form
assessment districts and community facilities districts, and issue bonds
agreement for use when applicable; and authorizing related actions.
Recommendation to City Council: 1) Open the public hearing; take documentary
and testimonial evidence; and after considering the evidence, adopt Resolution
No. 26-33; or 2) Alternatively, discuss and take other action related to this item.
