(27) 26-1053 CD 4 MOTION (RAMAN - BLUMENFIELD) relative to funding to implement the Studio City Pedestrian Safety Downlighting Project. Recommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: 1. AUTHORIZE the Department of Transportation (LADOT) to TRANSFER and APPROPRIATE $316,000 from the Ventura/Cahuenga Corridor Specific Plan Trust Fund No. 523/94, Available Cash Balance, to the Board of Public Works, Office of Community Beautification, Fund No. 100/74, Account No. 003040 (Contractual Services), to implement the Studio City Pedestrian Safety Downlighting Project, which will provide sidewalk lighting along Ventura Boulevard between Carpenter Avenue and Coldwater Canyon, and on a short segment of Ventura Place. 2. AUTHORIZE the Board of Public Works, Office of Community Beautification to utilize the existing contract authority with the Los Angeles Neighborhood Initiative to implement the Studio City Pedestrian Safety Downlighting Project. 3. AUTHORIZE the LADOT to make any corrections, clarifications, or revisions to the above fund transfer instructions, including any new instructions in order to effectuate the intent of this Motion, and including any corrections and changes to fund or account numbers; said corrections / clarifications / changes may be made orally, electronically or by any other means.
