(20) 25-0002-S126 RULES, ELECTIONS AND INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS COMMITTEE REPORT and RESOLUTION relative to establishing the City’s position on legislative and/or administrative action that proposes beneficial wildfire or catastrophic event liability reforms. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Resolution (Nazarian – Yaroslavsky), SUBJECT TO THE CONCURRENCE OF THE MAYOR: RESOLVE to include in the City’s 2025-26 State and Federal Legislative Programs SUPPORT for any legislative and/or administrative action that proposes beneficial wildfire or catastrophic event liability reforms and/or a beneficial wildfire or broader perils fund. Fiscal Impact Statement: None submitted by the Chief Legislative Analyst. The City Administrative Officer has not completed a financial analysis of this report.
