(29) 26-1061 CD 9 MOTION (HUTT for PRICE - SOTO-MARTINEZ) relative to funding any aspect of the Central Avenue Jazz Festival. Recommendations for Council action: 1. UTILIZE $75,000 in the Council's portion of the Heritage Month Celebration & Special Events line item in the General City Purposes Fund No. 100/56 to fund any aspect of the Central Avenue Jazz Festival. 2. DIRECT the City Clerk to prepare and process the necessary documents and/or payment in the above purpose, directly with the vendor/service provider, or any other appropriate agency or organization, in the above amount, for the above purpose, subject to the approval of the City Attorney as to form, if needed; and that the City Clerk be authorized to execute any such documents on behalf of the City. 3. AUTHORIZE the City Clerk to make any technical correction or clarifications to the above instructions in order to effectuate the intent of this Motion.
