8. CONTRACT AMENDMENT TO EXTEND THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES\nAGREEMENT WITH RINCON CONSULTANTS, INC. FOR GENERAL PLAN AND\nHOUSING ELEMENT UPDATE SERVICES\nRECOMMENDED THAT CITY COUNCIL:\n1. Approve an Amendment to Extend the Agreement between the City of Huntington\nPark and Consolidated Disposal Services, Inc. for General Plan and Housing\nElement Update services to April 23, 2026. Completion of services to include:\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute a contract amendment with Rincon\nConsultants, Inc. for continued uninterrupted completion of the General Plan,\nwhich includes the Safety Element, Environmental Justice Element, and Housing\nElement Update services.
