7. CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL TO INCREASE THE MAXIMUM LOAN\nAMOUNT TO THE CALHOME FIRST-TIME HOME BUYER PROGRAM\nRECOMMENDED THAT CITY COUNCIL:\n1. Authorize the increase to the maximum loan amount to 40% from 20% to reflect\nthe CalHome Department of Housing and Community Development guidelines.\n2. Authorize staff to update the First Time Home Buyers guidelines and process\ncheck requests according to the new maximum loan amount.
