10. ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 26-53 APPROVING THE 2026 ENGINEERING AND TRAFFIC SPEED SURVEY RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Adopt Resolution No. 26-53 approving the 2026 Engineering and Traffic Speed Survey and the proposed changes to ten (10) street segments; or 2. The City Council may retain the current speed limits using the legally supported options under California Vehicle Code (CVC) §§22358.6, 22358.7, and 22358.8 to ensure safety, preserve enforceability, and maintain consistency with state policy prioritizing safer speeds; and 3. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
