5. ACCEPTANCE OF CITYWIDE SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT (CP 941) – NOTICE OF COMPLETION RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Accept the Citywide Sidewalk Improvements Project (CP 941) as completed by Precision Concrete Cutting, Inc.; and 2. Approve the final contract amount with Precision Concrete Cutting, Inc. for the Citywide Sidewalk Improvements Project (CP 941) in the amount of $999,851; and 3. Approve the Final Total Project Budget (Attachment A); and 4. Authorize the City Clerk to execute, verify and file the Notice of Completion (Attachment B) with the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder; and 5. Authorize the release of the retention payment of $49,993 due to Precision Concrete Cutting, Inc. following the mandatory waiting period from the date the Notice of Completion is recorded; and 6 Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
