9. ACCEPTANCE OF RIO HONDO ACCESS IMPROVEMENT PROJECT SIGN (CP 924-2) – NOTICE OF COMPLETION RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Accept the Rio Hondo Access Improvement Project Sign (CP 924-2) as completed by Voltaire Engineering, Inc.; and 2. Approve the final contract amount with Voltaire Engineering, Inc. for the Rio Hondo Access Improvement Project Sign (CP 924-2) in the amount of $658,865; and 3. Approve the Final Total Project Budget (Attachment A); and 4. Amend the Fiscal Year 2026-27 budget by increasing appropriations by $258,865 in Account No. 600- 90-910-6040.10 (Transit – Transportation Operations – Contract Services – Outside Contracts); and 5. Authorize the City Clerk to execute, verify and file the Notice of Completion (Attachment B) with the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder; and 6. Authorize the release of the retention payment of $32,943 due to Voltaire Engineering, Inc. following the mandatory waiting period from the date the Notice of Completion is recorded; and 7. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
