27. ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 26-56 AUTHORIZING THE RECEIPT OF FEDERAL TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION MAINTENANCE PROJECTS RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Adopt Resolution No. 26-56 authorizing the receipt of Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grant funds projects; and 2. Amend the Transportation Department’s Fiscal Year 2026-27 adopted operating budget to appropriate the FTA grant funds ($2,308,000) and the twenty percent (20%) non-federal state match from FY24 Senate Bill 1/State Transit Assistance (SB1/STA) ($577,000) Fund by increasing appropriations in Account Nos. 270-9069-2026-110-6080.50 and -5000.10 (Expenditures) and -4019 (Revenue) (Transit Grants, FTA CA-2026-069, FY 2025-26, Tire Lease and PM); and Account Nos. 202-922-2024-6080.50 and -5000.10 (Expenditures) and -4021.20 (Revenue (State of Good Repairs, STA, FY 2023-24); and, 3. Take such additional, related, action as may be desirable.
