E.1. UPDATE ON DEDICATED PICKLEBALL COURTS AT PLUMMER
PARK [Y. QUARKER, S. MARTINEZ, C. JUBREY, A. YANEZ]:
SUBJECT: The City Council will receive an update on the implementation
of previous City Council direction from the March 2, 2026 City Council
meeting, regarding the dedicated use of pickleball courts at Plummer
Park, on Courts 6 and 7.
RECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve exclusive pickleball usage at
Plummer Park on Courts 6 and 7, while a Capital Improvement Project
(CIP) schedule is determined to resurface all courts; and 2) Direct staff to
implement a phased approach for the resurfacing of Courts 6 and 7 to
ensure limited disruption to programming during the contractor's project
timeline.
