F.1. APPROVAL OF COUNCIL DISCRETIONARY FUNDING REQUEST FOR CO-SPONSORSHIP OF HOLLYWOOD FOOD COALITION’S PICKLEBALL FUNDRAISER [J. ROCCO, A. LOVANO, J. DEL TORO]: SUBJECT: The City Council will consider approval of the discretionary funding request submitted by Councilmember Erickson to co-sponsor the Hollywood Food Coalition’s Pickleball Fundraiser on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at the West Hollywood Park Tennis & Pickleball Courts. RECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve the discretionary fund request from Councilmember Erickson to co-sponsor the Hollywood Food Coalition’s Pickleball Fundraiser on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at the West Hollywood Park Tennis & Pickleball Courts; 2) Authorize the use of the City name and logo on invitations, programs, and other collateral materials for the event; 3) Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to negotiate and execute Co-Sponsorship Agreements for the event; 4) Authorize the Director of Finance and Technology Services to allocate $2,500 from the Council Discretionary Funds, account 100-1-01-00-531001 in FY27 to support costs associated with the event; 5) Authorize the use of the West Hollywood Park Tennis and Pickleball Courts; and 6) Approve the waiver of parking fees at the 5-story parking lot for event participants (estimated $1,200 in waived fees).
