Rehabilitation and Resurfacing of Newhope Street (from Edinger Avenue to Heil Avenue), Ward Street (from Apache River Avenue to Ellis Avenue), Ellis Avenue (from Brookhurst Street to Ward Street), and Slater Avenue (from Starfish Avenue to Ward Street), Project No. 25005. - Presentation by Ryan Damon, Engineering Associate Staff recommends that the City Council: 1. Accept the bids and award a construction contract to Onyx Paving Company, Inc. for Project No. 25005, in the amount not-to-exceed $3,169,000; 2. Accept the proposal and authorize Staff to issue a Purchase Order to Onward Engineering’s On-Call contract for Construction Management and Inspection Services in the amount not-to-exceed $198,660; 3. Accept the proposal and authorize Staff to issue a Purchase Order to Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical and Environmental Sciences Consultants’ On-Call contract for Materials Testing Services in the amount not-to-exceed $22,140.
