12. Administration and Cost Sharing for Implementing the Coordinated
Integrated Monitoring Programs and Watershed Management Programs
for the Dominguez Channel Watershed and for the Jurisdictional Groups
2 & 3 of the Santa Monica Bay Watershed
Recommendation -
1. Authorize the City Manager to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement
for five years, between the cities of Los Angeles, Carson, El Segundo,
Hawthorne, Inglewood, Lawndale, and Lomita, the Los Angeles County
Flood Control District, the County of Los Angeles, and the South Bay
Cities Council of Governments for $138,460 for Administration and Cost
Sharing for Implementing the Coordinated Integrated Monitoring
Program (CIMP) and Watershed Management Program (WMP) for the
Dominguez Channel Watershed Management Area.
2. Authorize the City Manager to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement
Los Angeles County Flood Control District, and the cities of El Segundo
and Santa Monica, for $235,033 for Administration and Cost Sharing for
Implementing the Coordinated Integrated Monitoring Program (CIMP)
and Watershed Management Program (WMP) for the Jurisdictional
Groups 2 & 3 of the Santa Monica Bay Watershed.
3. Alternatively, discuss and take other action related to this item.
