5.6 Acceptance and Appropriation: Accept Grant Funding for the Cannabis Tax Fund Grant Program from the California Highway Patrol and Appropriate Funds Report Number: 26-0253 Location: No specific geographic location Department: Police G.C. § 84308 Regulations Apply: No Environmental Notice: The activity is not a “Project” as defined under section 15378 of the California Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”) State Guidelines. Therefore, pursuant to State Guidelines section 15060(c)(3), no environmental review is required. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt a resolution accepting grant funds in the amount of $439,974.82 from the California Highway Patrol to be used for the Cannabis Tax Fund Grant Program and appropriating funds for that purpose.
