8. BUS STOP IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (BSIP) – RECEIVE AND FILE TECHNICAL MEMORANDUM AND PROJECT CANCELLATION DUE TO FUNDING DEFICIT RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Receive and file the Bus Stop Improvement Project (BSIP) Final Technical Memorandum; and 2. Approve canceling the BSIP due to a $9.600 million funding deficit; and 3. Authorize the City Manager to re-evaluate the project scope, design standards, and procurement strategies for re-solicitation at a future date; and 4. Take such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
