6K. APPROVAL OF FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES\nAGREEMENT WITH NV5 TO INCREASE THE SCOPE OF WORK FOR THE SEWER\nMASTER PLAN UPDATE PROJECT (TASK CODE 2022-301)\nThe City is in the process of updating the Sewer Master Plan to study and assess the\ncondition of the City’s current sewer system. Staff is requesting a contract change order\nto increase the scope of work to include CCTV services and assess 11 additional miles\nof the City’s sewer infrastructure. The First Amendment will increase the total contract\namount, extend the term, and increase the scope of work. To fund the additional scope\nof services, staff is requesting City Council approval for an appropriation of $288,986 to\nincrease the budget for the Sewer Master Plan Project from $550,000 to $838,986.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n1. City Council declare this action to be categorically exempt under the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act, since the action herein does not constitute a “project” as\ndefined by Section 15378 of the CEQA guidelines; and\n2. Approve the First Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with NV5 for\nthe Updated Sewer Master Plan Project; and\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the First Amendment to the Professional\nServices Agreement between the City of Stanton and NV5; and\n4. Approve an appropriation of $288,986 from the Sewer Maintenance Fund (#501) to\nincrease the Sewer Master Plan project’s budget (Task Code No. 2022-301) to\n$838,986.\nEND OF CONSENT CALENDAR
