6G. AWARD OF A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT TO HUB LTD. TO ASSIST\nIN THE REDESIGN OF THE CITY’S OFFICIAL LOGO, BRANDING AND\nMESSAGING\nThe Council directed staff to solicit a qualified vendor to provide a refresh of the City’s\nbrand in September 2022. After completing the review process, staff recommends that\nthe Council authorize the City Manager to enter into an agreement with HUB Ltd. to\nprovide services in an amount not-to-exceed $85,000, using funds allocated through the\nAmerican Rescue Plan Act.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n1. City Council declare this project to be categorically exempt under the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act, Section 15378(b)(5) (Organizational or administrative\nactivities of governments that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in\nthe environment); and\n2. Approve a Professional Services Agreement with HUB Ltd. to assist in the redesign\nof the City’s official logo, seal and overall brand for a not-to-exceed contract amount\nof $85,000; and\n3. Authorize the City Manager to bind the City of Stanton and HUB Ltd. in a contract to\nprovide these services.
