MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE SAN DIEGO\nASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS AND THE CITY OF CORONADO\nREGARDING PRELIMINARY PLANNING ACTIVITIES FOR A REGIONAL\nBEACH SAND PROJECT AND DETERMINATION THAT THE PROJECT IS\nEXEMPT FROM ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW PURSUANT TO CEQA SECTION\n15063(B)\nRecommendation: Determine that the project is exempt from environmental review\npursuant to CEQA section 15063(b) and authorize the City Manager to execute a\nMemorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of Coronado and the San\nDiego Association of Governments (SANDAG) and to commit a financial\ncontribution not to exceed $14,200 for initial planning activities for a regional beach\nsand project.
