Item 54: Authorization to Execute a Six (6) Month Extension, with an Additional Six (6)\nMonth Option to Extend, to an Agreement with Assetworks, INC. for a Fleet\nManagement Information System.\nTotal Estimated Cost of Proposed Action and Funding Source:\nThis Agreement is to extend the existing Agreement term by six (6) months with an\nadditional six (6) month option to extend through June 30, 2024, in an amount not-to-\nexceed $449,506.12, (software maintenance, support, and hosting fees plus contingency),\npayable from the Fleet Operations Fund for which budget has been requested in the Fiscal\nYear 2024 Proposed Budget.\nCouncil District(s) Affected: Citywide.\nProposed Actions:\nAdopt the following Ordinance which was introduced on 4/25/2023, Item 51 (Council\nvoted 7-2, Councilmember Montgomery Steppe and Councilmember Campillo-nay):\n(O-2023-142)\nOrdinance authorizing the Mayor, or his designee, to execute Amendment No. One to the\nMaster Agreement with AssetWorks, Inc., extending the Agreement term by six (6)\nmonths with an option to extend the term for an additional six (6) months through June\n30, 2024, and increasing the not-to-exceed amount by $219,506.12, for continuation of\nsoftware maintenance, support, and hosting of the City’s FleetFocus Fleet Management\nInformation System, bringing the total Master Agreement to a not-to-exceed amount of\n$449,506.12, and related funding actions.\n6 votes required pursuant to Charter Section 99.\nCommittee Actions Taken:\nThis item was heard at the Budget and Government Efficiency Committee meeting on\nApril 12, 2023.\nACTION: Motion by Vice Chair Moreno, second by Committee Member LaCava, to\nrecommend Council approval of staff's proposed actions.\nVOTE: 3-1; Moreno-yea, LaCava-yea, Lee-yea, Montgomery Steppe-nay.\nDepartment of General Services: David Onate, (619) 218-5372\nCity Attorney Contact: Markecia Simmons
