City Manager – Adopt RESOLUTIONS Pursuant to Memorandums of\nUnderstanding Setting Forth Hours, Wages, and Working Conditions for\nTorrance Library Employee Association (TLEA) and Crossing Guards.\nExpenditure: $391,460 (General Fund).\nRecommendation of the City Manager that City Council:\n1) Adopt a RESOLUTION pursuant to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) setting\nforth the hours, wages, and working conditions for Torrance Library Employees\nAssociation (TLEA) in the amount of $338,332 (9%), for the period of January 1, 2023\nto June 30, 2024 and repeal Resolution No. 2019-36 in its entirety; and\n2) Adopt a RESOLUTION pursuant to the MOU setting forth the hours, wages, and\nworking conditions for Crossing Guards in the amount of $53,128 (9%), for the period\nof May 21, 2023 to June 30, 2024 and repeal Resolution No. 2019-37 in its entirety.\nCity Council Meeting 05-23-23 4 of 6\n5
