Consideration to Adopt a Proposed Urgency Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Cudahy\nEstablishing an Interim Prohibition on Residential Rent Increases (page 103)\nPresented by the City Attorney\nRecommendation: It is staff’s recommendation that the City Council take one of the following\nactions:\n1. Adopt Urgency Ordinance No. 731 extending the temporary\nprohibition on residential rent increases for a period of 90 additional\ndays with the ability to extend further; or\n2. Take no further action, thereby allowing the current rent increase\nmoratorium to expire on January 18, 2023.
