(16) Resolution Awarding the Construction Contract for the Citywide Slurry Seal\nand Roadway Maintenance Program 2023 (CIP 2023-06) Project and\nDetermining the Project is Categorically Exempt from Environmental Review\nUnder the California Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”) per State CEQA\nGuidelines Section 15301(c). (Engineering – Schmitz)\nRecommendation:\nAdopt the Resolution:\n1. Awarding the construction contract for the Citywide Slurry Seal and Roadway\nMaintenance Program 2023 (CIP 2023-06) Project to Pavement Coatings Co. for\na total amount of $3,691,633.87; and\n2. Authorizing the City Manager to execute all necessary documents to execute the\ncontract on behalf of the City; and\n3. Authorizing the Director of Engineering/City Engineer to approve change orders\nin a total amount not to exceed $920,000.00; and\n4.
