10. Approval of Professional Services Agreement with De Novo Planning Group\nfor Phase 2 of the City of Laguna Niguel’s Comprehensive General Plan\nUpdate\nRecommendation\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Approve the Professional Services Agreement for De Novo Planning Group\nin the not-to-exceed amount of $1,175,600 (Attachment A);\n2. Approve a not-to-exceed 10% contingency of the total contract in the\namount of $117,560 for unforeseen additional work and authorize the\nCommunity Development Director to approve additional work for a total not-\nto-exceed amount of $1,293,160, if needed; and,\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Professional Services\nAgreement and future amendments to the Agreement with De Novo\nPlanning Group, subject to the City Attorney making non-substantive\nchanges.\nCity Council Regular Meeting Agenda Page 4 of 7 June 6, 2023
