Item No. 27. 2023-0346 CONSIDER APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO\nPUBLIC WORKS AGREEMENT WITH JJJ FLOOR\nCOVERING, INC., AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION\nNO. 23-092 “A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF\nCARSON CITY COUNCIL AMENDING THE FISCAL\nYEAR 2022-23 BUDGET" PROVIDING FUNDS FOR\nMATERIAL REVISIONS AND ADDITIONAL WORK\nFOR THE SECOND FLOOR OF THE CITY HALL\nBUILDING - PROJECT NO. 1666: CITY HALL CARPET\nIMPROVEMENTS (CITY COUNCIL)\nRecommendation: TAKE the following action:\n1. AUTHORIZE and REAFFIRM the expenditure of the full project\ncontingency totaling $22,270.86 previously budgeted during the\ncontract award per staff report 2022-431 (Exhibit No. 3).\n2. APPROVE Amendment No. 1 to Public Works Agreement with\nJJJ Floor Covering, Inc.\n3. AUTHORIZE the Mayor to execute Amendment No. 1 following\napproval as to form by the City Attorney.\n4.
