C. STATEMENT OF INVESTMENT POLICY 2023-2024\nCalifornia Government Code Section 53646 requires the annual review of the\nCity’s Investment Policy at a regular meeting of the City Council. The\nrequirement for an annual policy is also stated in the City’s Fiscal Sustainability\nPolicy (adopted April 2019 in the interest of fiscal accountability). The\nInvestment Policy is required to be reviewed and adopted annually by the City\nCouncil. There is no fiscal impact related to this item.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 23-36 adopting\nthe 2023-2024 Statement of Investment Policy.
