For FY 2024, the Office has\nrequested funding in the FY 2024 budget which is partially offset by savings due to a\nposition reduction.\nCouncil District(s) Affected: Citywide.\nProposed Actions:\nAdopt the following Ordinance which was introduced on 05/23/2023, Item 50 (Council\nvoted 7-1, Councilmember Moreno-nay, Councilmember Whitburn-not present):\n(O-2023-154)\nOrdinance authorizing the exemption of one Program Coordinator position, in the City's\nSpecial Events and Filming Department from the Classified Service, based on advisory\nreview and favorable comment by the Civil Service Commission on April 7, 2023.
