Item S501: Agreement with the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System to Provide Transit\nPasses to the City of San Diego’s Workforce. (Added 06/01/23)\nTotal Estimated Cost of Proposed Action and Funding Source:\nThe projected cost for the proposed five-year contract term with MTS to provide free\ntransit citywide is $4,798,894. Transit pass budget is appropriated on an annual basis\nbased on usage, with the highest projected year expected to not exceed $1.2 million.
