Item 106: Resolutions Approving Side Letter Agreements Between the City of San Diego and\nSan Diego Police Officers Association; San Diego City Firefighters, I.A.F.F. Local\n145; and California Teamsters Local 911, to Amend the Memoranda of\nUnderstanding Regarding Free San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS)\nTransit Passes and Extending this Benefit to Unrepresented Employees and\nVolunteers.\nTotal Estimated Cost of Proposed Action and Funding Source:\nThe fiscal impact for Fiscal Year 2024 to provide free transit citywide is $786,046.80. The\nCity currently subsidizes MTS fixed-route services transit passes citywide.
