14. ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION TO ENTER INTO A COOPERATIVE IMPLEMENTATION\nAGREEMENT (CIA) WITH CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION\n(CALTRANS) TO RECEIVE STATE FUNDS IN AN AMOUNT NOT-TO-EXCEED $3,114,686\nFOR THE LOWER ARROYO PARK STORMWATER INFILTRATION BASIN FACILITY #2\nPROJECT\nRESOLUTION\nA RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF\nSOUTH PASADENA, CALIFORNIA, TO ENTER INTO A\nCOOPERATIVE IMPLEMENTATION AGREEMENT WITH\nCALTRANS TO RECEIVE GRANT FUNDS TO CONSTRUCT THE\nLOWER ARROYO PARK STORMWATER INFILTRATION BASIN\nFACILITY #2 PROJECT.\nRecommendation\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Adopt a Resolution authorizing the funding application, acceptance, and execution for the City\nof South Pasadena Lower Arroyo Park Stormwater Infiltration Basin Facility #2 Project; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager, or her designee to conduct all negotiations, and to execute and\nsubmit all documents including, but not limited to, agreements, amendments, payment\nrequests and so forth which may be necessary for the completion of the agreement with\nCaltrans to provide funding to the Project and/or may be required by California Department of\nTransportation (Caltrans) ; and\n3. Authorize City Manager to execute the Cooperative Implementation Agreement (CIA) with\nCaltrans, subject to approval by the City Attorney, and submit any required documents,\ninvoices, and reports required to obtain related funding.
