1. CONSIDERATION OF ORDINANCE NO. 934 REGULATING COMMERCIAL RETAIL\nCANNABIS ACTIVITY CITYWIDE\nOrdinance No. 934 is proposed to establish provisions to allow and regulate commercial retail\ncannabis activity citywide.\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\nA. Find the proposed ordinance (Exhibit 1) is exempt from the provisions of the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (“CEQA”); and\nB. Adopt the attached Resolution (Exhibit 2) recommending to the City Council approval of\nthe procedures and requirements for a proposed Development Agreement in connection\nwith a Conditional Use Permit for a cannabis retail use in the City of Bell Gardens; and\nC. Waive full reading and introduce Ordinance No. 934, by title only.
