Certification of Recirculated Final Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Assessment for the\nPier Bridge Replacement Project and Authorization to Proceed with Final Design and Bidding\nDocuments New Item Received. 6/09/2023\nRecommended Action\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Adopt a Resolution (Attachment A) certifying the Recirculated Final Environmental\nImpact Report/Environmental Assessment (EIR/EA) (Attachment B) and adopting the\nMitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program for the Pier Bridge Replacement Project\n(Attachment C).\n2. Approve the preferred alternative bridge design (Alternative 2) described in the\nRecirculated Final EIR/EA and authorize staff to proceed with the final design and\ndevelopment of bidding documents for construction of the Pier Bridge Replacement\nProject as recommended in the Recirculated Final EIR/EA and as described in this\nreport.\na.
