PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT (“PSA”) BETWEEN THE CITY OF AZUSA AND\nTRANSTECH ENGINEERS INC., TO PROVIDE CONTRACT PLAN REVIEW, BUILDING\nOFFICIAL, AND INSPECTION SERVICES AND APPROVE WAIVING OF PURCHASING\nPROCEEDURES UNDER AZUSA MUNICIPA CODE, SECTION 2-520(b) SOLE SOURCE.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nApprove the execution of a new Professional Services Agreement with Transtech Engineers Inc. to provide\ncontract plan review support and extend the term of their agreement through June 30, 2024; Approve\nwaiving of purchasing procedures under the Azusa Municipal Code Section 2-520(b) Sole Source;\nAuthorize the City Manager to execute the PSA, subject to any non-substantive revisions approved by the\nCity Attorney, and perform any other obligations of the City under the PSA; and Authorize the City\nManager to execute the Transtech Engineers, Inc. $1,001,950 Not To Exceed (“NTE”) Agreement on behalf\nof the City.\nTotal Cost: $1,001,950 Is the Cost of this item budgeted?
