16.\nApprove an Appropriation Adjustment and Award a Construction Contract to Baker Electric\n& Renewables LLC in the Amount of $597,000 for the Street Light Poles Replacement\nProject, with an Estimated Project Delivery Cost of $863,899 (Project No. 23-6033) (Non-\nGeneral Fund)\nDepartment(s): Public Works Agency\nRecommended Action: 1. Approve an appropriation adjustment to recognize Southern\nCalifornia Edison Streetlights Energy Credit in an amount of $863,899 in the Public Works/\nMiscellaneous revenue account, and appropriate the same amount to the PWA Street\nLighting, Improvements Other than Buildings expenditure account. (Requires five\naffirmative votes)\n2. Approve an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2022-23 Capital Improvement Program to\ninclude $863,899 of funding in Southern California Edison Energy Cost Refund Funds for\nStreetlight Upgrades.\n3. Award a construction contract to Baker Electric & Renewables LLC, the lowest\nresponsible bidder, in accordance with the base bid in the amount of $597,000, for\nconstruction of the Streetlight Poles Replacement Project, for the term beginning June 20,\n2023, and ending upon project completion, and authorize the City Manager to execute the\ncontract subject to non-substantive changes approved by the City Manager and the City\nAttorney.\n4. Approve the Project Cost Analysis for a total estimated construction delivery cost of\n$863,899, which includes $597,000 for the construction contract, $117,649 for contract\nadministration, inspection and testing, and a $149,250 project contingency for\nunanticipated or unforeseen work.
