J. Approval of Plans and Specifications and Authorization to Bid for the\nBloomfield Neighborhood Street Rehabilitation Project (CIP No. 22/2306) (Development Services)\nThe City of Los Alamitos is being awarded $200,000 in federal Coronavirus\nResponse and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021 (CRRSAA)\nfunding through the 2021 Pavement Management Relief Funding (PMRF)\nProgram.\nThis item seeks approval to facilitate the solicitation of bids to begin the\nBloomfield Neighborhood Street Rehabilitation Project (CIP No. 22/23-06) and\nCity Manager authorization to sign the Master Agreement(s) with Caltrans to\nfacilitate the funding.\nRecommendation:\n1. Approve the plans and specifications for the Bloomfield Neighborhood\nStreet Rehabilitation Project (CIP No. 22/23-06); and,\n2. Authorize Staff to advertise and solicit bid proposal; and,\n3. Adopt Resolution No. 2023-12, entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY\nCOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOS ALAMITOS AUTHORIZING THE CITY\nMANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL AGREEMENTS RELATED TO CLAIMING\nFUNDS FOR THE BLOOMFIELD NEIGHBORHOOD STREET\nREHABILITATION PROJECT (CIP NO. 22/23-06) FROM THE\nCALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.”
