Expenditure: $834,256 (Non-\nGeneral Fund).\nRecommendation of the Public Works Director that City Council:\n1) Adopt finding of statutory exemption per staff determination, pursuant to Section\n15282(k) of the guidelines implementing California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)\nfor Calle Miramar Storm Drain Improvement Project, I-178; Apple Avenue Alley Storm\nDrain Installation, I-150; and 172nd Street Storm Drain Lining, I-192 (B2023-01); and\n2) Approve the plans and specifications for Calle Miramar Storm Drain Improvement\nProject, I-178; Apple Avenue Alley Storm Drain Installation, I-150; and 172nd Street\nStorm Drain Lining, I-192 (B2023-01); and\n3) Award a public works agreement to Toro Enterprises, Inc. of Oxnard, CA (B2023-01)\nin the amount of $725,440 and authorize a 15% contingency in the amount of $108,816\nfor construction of Calle Miramar Storm Drain Improvement Project, I-178; Apple\nAvenue Alley Storm Drain Installation, I-150; and 172nd Street Storm Drain Lining,\nI-192 for a two-year period beginning June 20, 2023 and ending June 19, 2025.
