8Q. City Manager, Community Services, and Transit – Approve Amendments to\nContract Services Agreements to Provide Unarmed Security Services and\nAppropriate Funds. Expenditure: Not-to-Exceed $712,167.98 (General Fund and\nNon-General Fund).\nRecommendation of the City Manager, Community Services Director, and Transit Director\nthat City Council:\n1) Approve a second amendment to contract services agreement with Nationwide Guard\nServices of Rancho Cucamonga, CA (C2019-047) in the amount of $108,000 for a new\nnot-to-exceed amount of $577,237.06 to provide unarmed security services for the City\nManager's Office and Community Services Department and extend the term for one\nyear through June 30, 2024; and\n2) Appropriate $150,000 from Transit Fund Balance to the Fiscal Year 2023-24 Transit\nOperating Budget; and\n3) Approve a second amendment to contract services agreement with A.G. Coast,\nCorporation (dba California Panther Security) of Los Angeles, CA (C2019-046) in the\namount of $304,000 for a new not-to-exceed amount of $1,467,266.56 to extend the\nterm for one year through June 30, 2024.
