Community Development – Conduct Public Hearing on the Five-Year\nConsolidated Plan Covering Fiscal Year (“FY”) 2023-27 and Annual Action Plan\nCovering FY 2023-24, Approve and Authorize Submission of FY 2023-27\nConsolidated Plan and FY 2023-24 Action Plan, and Authorize City Manager to\nExecute Documents. Expenditure: None.\nRecommendation of the Community Development Director that City Council:\n1) Conduct a public hearing and take public testimony on the Five-Year Consolidated\nPlan covering the period July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2028, and the Annual Action Plan\ncovering the period July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024; and\n2) Approve and authorize submission of FY 2023-27 Consolidated Plan and FY 2023-24\nAction Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD); and\n3) Authorize the City Manager to execute all appropriate and necessary documents to\nreceive funding and implement approved uses.
