8I. Public Works – Adopt Categorical Exemption Under California Environmental\nQuality Act (CEQA) and Authorize Payment for Emergency Repairs to Wilson\nPark Storm Drain. Expenditure: $167,400 (Non-General Fund).\nRecommendation of the Public Works Director that City Council:\n1) Adopt finding of a categorical exemption, pursuant to Section 15269(a) and 15269(b)\nof the guidelines implementing CEQA for the Wilson Park Storm Drain; and\n2) Authorize direct payment to Clarke Contracting Corporation of Lawndale, CA in the\namount of $167,400 for the emergency repairs performed in April 2023 to the Wilson\nPark Storm Drain.
