1. COMMENDATIONS: ENVIRONMENTAL SCHOLARSHIP AWARD RECIPIENTS –\nF2M23-3\nMayor Andrade-Stadler and City Council wish to commend the recent winners of the\nSecond Annual Environmental Scholarship Award. Republic Services joined with the City\nof Alhambra to award five scholarships of $1,000 to Alhambra students. Each finalist\nsubmitted an essay based on the theme of environmental stewardship and acknowledged\nthe power of future generations to innovate greener living standards, an environmentally\nsound economy, and an environmentally sustainable lifestyle. The City of Alhambra is\npleased to congratulate Alhambra students James Han, Jason Lam, Eric Li, Sarah\nOrduna, and Cesar Saldivar for their achievements and for inspiring others through their\ndedication to the conservation of our planet.
