7. AWARD CONTRACT: ALMANSOR COURT EXTERIOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT –\nF2M23-41, N2M23-47, C2M23-46, M2M23-95\nOn January 23, 2023, the City Council approved the reallocation of American Rescue Plan\nAct (ARPA) funds not to exceed $481,942 to fund certain Almansor Court Exterior\nImprovement Projects. Specifications and bid documentation have been completed for\nthe Almansor Court Exterior Improvement Project. The project will include new paint and\nstucco to the exterior of the Almansor Court building. Bids are due no later than 10:30 a.m.\non May 25, 2023, in the office of the City Clerk and will be opened at 11:00 a.m. that same\nday.\nRecommended Action: City Council award a contract, subject to final language\napproval by the City Manager and City Attorney, to Tom’s Construction in the amount of\n$299,215 for the Almansor Court Exterior Improvement Project; and, direct staff to\nundertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.
