17. NOTICE INVITING BIDS: DOCUMENT SCANNING PROJECT – F2M23-53, N2M23-74\nThe City of Alhambra has physical documents stored at City Hall and its various facilities.\nThe Library Director, with the support of the City Manager’s Office, is beginning a\ndigitization and conversion project to enhance accessibility and transparency to staff and\ncommunity members. The first phase of this project includes converting stored files form\nthe Community Development Department to the cloud based Laserfiche platform. Plans\nand specifications have been developed for this project. Bids are due no later than 10:30\na.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2023 in the office of the City Clerk and will be opened at 11:00\na.m. that same day.\nRecommended Action: City Council authorize staff to circulate a Notice Inviting Bids\nto prospective contractors for the Community Development Department’s document\ndigitization project; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s\naction.
