13. ADOPT A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF RED CURB 'NO\nPARKING' RESTRICTIONS AT THE INTERSECTION OF EASTERN AVENUE AND\nPRIORY STREET\nThe Department of Public Works received a request from the Bell Gardens Police Department to\nevaluate the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Priory Street due to safety concerns with vehicles\nturning onto Eastern Avenue from Priory Street. The City Engineer completed a site investigation of\nthe location to confirm existing roadway and sight distance conditions.\nRecommendation:\nIt is staff's recommendation that the City Council by motion adopt the attached Resolution\n5\nauthorizing the installation of the following parking restrictions:\n1. Fifty feet of red curb 'no parking' restrictions at the northwest corner of the intersection of\nEastern Avenue and Priory Street;\n2. Forty feet of red curb 'no parking' restrictions at the southeast corner of the intersection of\nEastern Avenue and Priory Street; and\n3. Twenty feet of red curb 'no parking' restrictions at the northeast corner of intersection of\nEastern Avenue and Priory Street.
